I kind of expected this news. Didn't you? I would have been surprised if
IBOC was not going to be 24/7. I don't like to say it, but as usual big
business runs the show and comments from the regular guy is not counted
for much. The only way IBOC will go away if it is not successful.
   As far as the West coast goes. IBOC will be a factor here. The Bay
Area stations boom in here at night and several SF area stations are
IBOC and more on the way.
   I agree with Scott that the sky is not falling. However, the sky is a
lot closer to the ground than it once was. Sure there will be
frequencies not QRMed by IBOC noise, but again it just cuts down on the
number of channels we can DX. Less channels to DX, less DX to be heard.
