    Thanks! Come on and join the fun! I'll send out QSL's for all of those 
that request one. However, I'm sure there won't be much of a demand. I guess 
I could print some up...just in case. However, the Molsens stay here. 
Sorry...

    Chris loaned me a Radio Shack mobile unit and an antenna when I met him 
Saturday. I'm not sure of the model number or how to use it. I still have to 
read the manual he gave me.

    When I went over and told my ham neighbor today, he gave me an ICOM 
handheld, but he couldn't find the manual. Once again, I'm not sure of the 
model number, but I think I can look it up at their site and perhaps 
download a manual if he can't find his.

    So I have two rigs that I can put to use in the next day or so. But I 
still want to buy one of my own. I know with the tech class I'm somewhat 
limited in what I buy, but I'd still like to own something. I think the real 
fun starts at the general level when more bands open up, but what do I know? 
I only got my license Saturday.
