One of the simpler fixes for a Domain Name Server problem is to add a number
of these to your computer TCP/IP configuration.  I use one DNS from my ISP
(Verizon), another from my previous ISP, and a public one (4.2.2.2).  I
almost never have problems with an update not hitting at least one of these.
