Re: [IRCA] OT : Hussein hung

Right you are, Sir!

Would be remiss not to mention late Steve White. During 80's & 90's he held
RI in thrall w/ voice, unpredictable comments, engaging personality. In
short, great talk host. Surely we can all understand he had to go. Hole-i-Kasters
would insist.

During first persecution of Providence, RI Mayor Vincent A. 'Buddy' Cianci,
a 'yapping little dog judge' in words of WHJJ's late Sherm Strickhouser, gave
him suspended sentence, forcing his resignation.

Latest troubles, much ballyhooed by Blue Stockings of High Propriety -
whose private antics explain the strange walk of neighborhood Collies - resulted
from his opposition to gambling in Providence. Yes, there are less than a dozen
'made men' in the RI, but their associates run the legislature and Judiciary.
They specialize in 'the set-up' and 'recovering the wealth of nations'.

First persecution centered around Buddy's whining ex-pal. He wanted Buddy to
smile as he ran off with his wife. Buddy made known his displeasure with a
'fireplace log, an ashtray, and a lit cigarette. Whatever the high-miminded
legalese, Buddy simply acted as a man.

White's intro music for Buddy news? As surely you would concur, 'Two
Cigarettes Glowing in the Dark.'
