Thanks to everyone for the updates!  A lot of the question marks have been 
cleared up.  Here's the latest scorecard:

Group 1: iBiquity says they're using IBOC, but they do not appear in the FCC
database as having notified the Commission of digital operation:

 560 WHYN Springfield, MA - no (antenna bandwidth problems)
 620 KTAR Phoenix, AZ - yes
 640 WJNA Royal Palm Beach, FL - no
 690 KTSM El Paso, TX - no
 730 KURL Billings, MT - yes
 820 KUTR Taylorsville, UT - yes
 840 KMPH Modesto, CA - no
 860 KMVP Phoenix, AZ - yes (intermittent)
 920 WOKY Milwaukee, WI - yes (intermittent)
 950 KKFN Denver, CO - no
1070 WDIA Memphis, TN - yes (intermittent)
1090 KMXA Aurora, CO - yes
1130 WDFN Detroit, MI - no
1140 WQBA Miami, FL - no
1160 KVCE Highland Park, TX - yes (intermittent)
1190 WOWO Fort Wayne, IN - yes
1200 WOAI San Antonio, TX - ? [no indication of IBOC on website]
1230 WJOI Norfolk, VA - ?
1240 KMZK Billings, MT (FCC shows this as deleted!)

Group 2: these stations show notification of digital  operation in the FCC 
database, but they don't appear in the iBiquity list:

 630 WPRO Providence, RI - no (was on)
 630 KJSL St Louis, MO - ? [no indication of IBOC on website]
 680 KKYX San Antonio, TX - ? [no indication of IBOC on website]
 690 KSTL St Louis, MO - not yet (coming, according to website)
 730 KBSU Boise, ID - yes (intermittent)
 860 KONO San Antonio, TX - ? [no indication of IBOC on website]
 950 WXGI Richmond, VA - ? [no indication of IBOC on website]
 980 KFWB Los Angeles, CA - no (but coming?)
1160 KRDY San Antonio, TX - ?
1200 WCHB Detroit, MI - no (but was on for a long time)
1270 WCGC Belmont, NC - ?
1310 WGSP Charlotte, NC - ?
1410 WEGO Concord, NC - ?

Others:

 920 WHJJ Providence, RI - off, at least for the time being

How about WTIC-1080?  Any recent observations?  They didn't appear
to be running IBOC when I did a pre-sunset check a few days ago.
Any more observations on the above lists?
