Re: [IRCA] Idea for a DXing related website

My sentiments exactly.

What I'd hope for would be a dedicated space on the club site so that there
won't be turmoil as people come and go and everything is centralized. It
would also help the IRCA as the interesting stuff could be archived with a
short explanation so that people surfing to the site can get hooked.

Having a club library of archived audio clips and a temporary site for
"what's this?" clips seems real fundamental to me in this day and age.

I thank all the people that have offered to do this in the past
(particularly Craig Healy who has implemented it) but for the reasons above
I'd like to see the IRCA step forward and take ownership.

*** If this already exists -- and I certainly wasn't aware of it --
then why re-invent the wheel ? Obviously Paul wasn't aware of it
either. In general, I'd think having it on the club site makes it more
central and doesn't tie us to any individual.

I should also mention that the WTFDA Forums site has this capability in
the "AM DX" section, although that is also for members of that group
only, and I'd thought also that Craig's am-dx site also had this
capability.
