[IRCA] G-4000A vs E-5

Has anyone compared the Grundig G-4000A (also Eton G-4000A) and the Eton E-5?
The G-4000A is $50 less and has LW coverage. The E-5 has more
memories. But what about actual performance, especially on AM?
I've read in a customer comment that the G-4000A had better AM performance,
but that is anecdotal and only one person's opinion, the credentials of
which are unknown.
Any thoughts?
Curt
