Hi, I'll have to catch that on the archives, and it seems they don't
talk about radio's past on there that often, perhaps, because some of
the hoasts like Gene Burns aren't from this area, and my impression of
him, is that he doesn't care about bay area radio, because he wasn't
here in kfrc's hay day, but that is just a perception I have, and Gene
never once mentioned the passing of the legendary doctor Don Rose, a
legend in bay area radio if ever there was a legend, but we mustn't
forget tall tom campbell, big fat Chris Edwards, and Bill Holly, among
others from k y A, and people like doctor soul from k s o l when it was
at 1450, John Hardy, Bob White, and Roland Porter from k d i a, James
Gabbert, and so many other radio personalities, and that is why I
consider the bay area my home.
