I guess I might as well give up on this one.  KEWE called me today and said it was definitely not them.  I profusely thanked him for following up with me.  I found out from a station in Wyoming that Sunday Night Football was on Channel 42, not 44.  The Westwood One web site lists KEJO/1340 in Corvallis as a possibility, but dredging deeper I find that KEJO is 1240 (sports) and KLOO is 1340 (NOT sports).  KTIK/1340/Boise is actually on 1350, so I sent email to WW1 letting them know that they may want to update their station listings.  I also called WW1 Operations in NYC and found that they only keep records for Sunday through Monday, that channels used may vary from week to week, and that next week's channel assignments weren't available yet.

I don't think it was KLOO Corvallis Oregon, the station is about 90 miles from my location and it was fighting it out with ESPN and the Spanish station. Would think that KLOO would be a little stronger here. The channel 44 station did dominate for a while. I could not get a good copy with the KIWA, if so we could have drew lines on the map and seen where they intersected. my guess would be the Oroville station .
