I sure understand that, Steve. Happens to me all the time in Grayland. If a station is particularly strong, one has the temptation just to sit back and enjoy. I'm lucky here, in that I have multiple receivers. Mostly, though, I'm using a 7030+ and an Icom 756Pro2, both with 2 VFOs, so it's like 4 receivers right there. I use John Bryant's Audio switching network to flip between the 2 receivers. If there's great audio, I just engage Recall-Pro on my laptop, flip over to the other receiver and continue dxing. Mostly I scan with the 7030+ since I have all the offset channels in the memory. Anyhow, the Icom has the best audio to listen to. I also use 2 copies of Recall-Pro (one fed by an external sound blaster card) so I can "tape" 2 mp3 files at the same time. Can life get any better? :-) ...........Walt.
