Sounds like CFAV Laval PQ  Often in days during winter as are 
most of the big Montreal stations.
Good luck with DX test it took me a year to hear WWNH & its
only abt 65 mi. 
SS on 1580 maybe Patchogue N.Y. No NE stations on 
1580 but NY gets out well.
BTW Welcome to N.H.  Hope u have a BIG jacket &
your winter car has good snows..............
