Re: [IRCA] I-84 Sweep Tones

Rene's comment below reminded me of last week when I was traveling past the
Boise (ID) area on I-84. I was driving my '93 Chevy 1500 which has a stock
radio from hell in it. I think the bandwidth filter is at least 20.0 not to
mention if the radio or lines has any shielding at all, hi. Anyways, while
driving through that area, the whole AM bcb was being abused by a continuous
sweep tone and continued from one end of the valley to the other. The
stronger locals would knock it down most of the way, but any other frequency
was unusable. There were numerous- spaced out- towers just W-SW of the
interstate but I don't know for sure if they were the culprits.
