[IRCA] Grayland?

Grayland is commonly mentioned here.  Could someone provide information on what and where it is.  Everytime I hear the name, all I can think of is an ominous movie set where bad things happen in the fog.  I'm sure its a better place than that.  Please put my mind at rest.  Thanks!
