Doug,

Dial up does have drawbacks. That is for sure at least here. Some
friends I know live in cities where their dial up maxes out at 52 or
higher. Now if I had 40 or 50 on a regular basis, I would not care. But
with connections of 26.4 or 19.2, even downloading virus updates can
take some time. I remember when I first got the computer, I downloaded
basic stuff from MSN to get me started. It took over 4 hours.
