Next time you roast or BBQ chicken try this
dipping sauce.
1 tablespoon Wesson vegetable
oil
2 slices raw bacon, chopped
1 large or 2 small cloves
garlic
3 tablespoons maple syrup
1 teaspoon Worcestershire
sauce
Warm the oil in a small pan. Add the
chopped bacon and cook until the bacon is brown and crisp. Remove the bacon and
drain on paper towels. Stir in the garlic and sauté for a minute. Remove the
skillet from the heat and stir in the maple syrup and the Worcestershire
sauce. Add the bacon and serve. If brave add a bit of bourbon to the
glaze.
Gwen and I have used this over ham,
pork ribs, pork chops, and pan-fried or roasted ham.
