Re: [IRCA] QSLs



Adding my $.02 here...

I guess the issue is the question of who does the scanning, and where do 
these things go to live online? That costs money, and I don't see any 
hobby-oriented organization having the resources to set up and maintain 
an online archive. It may get started due to the efforts of a single 
person, but if they lose interest or go away then I fear the archive 
would disappear. Due to that I can understand the rationale for having a 
large research institution like U of M house the collection, but it sure 
would be nice to have access to it without having to travel there.

I could see a grass-routes effort to extract some of the QSLs from CPRV 
and post them online, but am not sure if CPRV/U of M would support that...
