Tom,

I have a strong het on 940 WINZ Miami, not the sidebands. Since 940 is a 
strong near-local, whatever it is must be fairly strong.  The whistle does 
seem to be varying in strength as I type this, it was quite strong, faded 
but still there, and came back.

I assume this is a strong TA.  I've not figured those out yet, so others 
can probably offer the answer to this one.  But I did have a clear foreign 
language station on 944, that along with R.Reloj is detectable by tuning 
around 940.

Strange, but then...I do, do Wobblers.  Probably no help with your 
situation though.
