Thanks for the information on checking NHK 1,  JOAK was not heard that morning, . Must remember that for future IDing purposes.   Piano music just lasted for a few minutes, then faded.  Checked  for TP's around 6:45 A.M. PST and nothing heard. 10/22.

Aimed the EWE SW yesterday morning in hopes of hearing a DU or Hawaiian.  The Active Whip heard the station on 666 kHz and JOUB.  Local KBMS tears up 1475 kHz, Malaysia would have to be strong to get through the QRM.
