You live where WBZ is very strong ! WBZ IBOC gets chopped up by sunset skip
from other stations on 1030 ?!?! WOW..since their really aren't (from my
recollection) many strong QRMing stations to WBZ in Providence (or Pawtucket
where I used to live).
WHAS is normally not overpowering in RI from my recollection, but one would
still expect to decode usable HD when the analog is strong and clear.
I fear the HD is simply the wrong approach for AM and will cause much more
harm than good (and I am not talking from a DXer's POV)
HD TV, is likely an improvement, and HD FM may be one..but HD AM.. ..I doubt
it. 73 KAZ
