I can't think of any that changed and flipped back after a short time but 
over the years many have pulled a format change as an April fools day joke.

Many stations in order to throw the audience off or the competition will 
change formats but in the process will play different music for a couple of 
days or run a loop of something that does not fit what they were about or 
what they will be changing to.

Finally I could think of many that I wish would change to what they were but 
that's a discussion for a different list.
