[IRCA] Ain't Life Strange?!?

1460  KCNR  Shasta CA noted 1/21/06 0005 PDT under KABL with ads that
included e-mail address of 'Shasta Dot Com'.  Also ad for a company
named 'Timberline' something or other.  Brief end to news & dual
KLXR/KCNR ID.  Into a Benny Goodman big band era instrumental.  Checked
1230 and KLXR atop with same piece.

Amazing!  Been looking for this guy for ages with no luck.  Plus the
fact that KLXR who is rare enough in these parts has been in/out & atop
often the past 3-4 nights.  Me thinks an engineer in the Redding area
has upgraded his operation (and perhaps just put KCNR back on the air).

Too bad the dx bug is at a low ebb these days or I'd spend more time at
the dials as conditions are pretty unusual tonight.  Damn, getting old
is the pits................
