Mike,

Gerry suggested a .01-.1 cap across a couple of points on the circuit
board. There apparently is a circuit in his unit to increase the dynamic
range, but causes a bit of a loss. I lost 5 DB. The .1 works the best
out of the .01/.047/.1 I bought. The loss is gone, but the unit is a bit
too hot even here. If you want to, I will send you the pix of the board.
Gerry is sending out a sheet to everyone that bought one anyway, since I
called this to his attention. If you live in an RF free area, you might
not want the 5 DB loss. I would not do this change if you live in an
area with lots of RF though.
