A bit off topic but of some interest I trust.
In an on-line, unscientific poll conducted by
www.sun-sentinel.com -- the web site of the Sun-Sentinel newspaper in
Fort Lauderdale, FL. -- the acceptance of satellite radio is
raised.
Below are interim results from that poll:
Satellite radio is making a huge push to
win listeners from traditional stations, featuring lineups that include
Howard Stern, the NFL and a huge variety of music channels. Do you
subscribe?
60.6%
No. I don't want to buy special equipment and pay $13 a month to listen
to radio. (991 responses)
22.2%
Yes. The programs offered by satellite radio are appealing to me. (362
responses)
17.2%
I've thought about it, but haven't made a decision. (281
responses)
