[IRCA] TPs in Maine This Morning - Nov. 14

I had the good fortune of having my antenna(s) survive an all-day-rain yesterday and a huge increase in wind and decrease in temperature overnight AND being part of a TP opening this morning from Quoddy House near Lubec, Maine.

Starting as soon as the strongest TA carriers faded away others remained. This was the loudest I’ve ever heard these here in Maine and I’m sure there are others to be found. I know I have good signals from Japan on 774 and 747kHz, for example.

Korea on 972kHz is one of the most common [not really anything ‘common’ about it] TPs here near solar minima:

Not so common is China on 1206kHz in Korean:

Also not common is Japan on 1287kHz:

I have a KiwiSDR up and running and Quoddy House for the duration of my visit [Saturday AM]:

Enjoy!
