[IRCA] Part IV for the fabulous Oct 25, 2018 TP Opening to Victoria, BC

As promised, here's part IV of my SDR scan covering the period 14:27 to
14:43 or so on that amazing morning.  Not too much was accomplished tonight
as the TA opening was rather good with Spain, UK, Egypt, and even Turkey
being well heard.   Anyway, here is Part IV, and I promise, yet another 1
or 2 more logging summaries to complete the project.   Just as an aside, I
re-read a posting about the QDFA of Dallas Lankford.  I almost forgot I
still have one of those in Masset, and reading the incredible loggings from
early January 2010 made my mouth water....BBC Oman at armchair level in the
mid afternoon local time in Masset.  Wow!  And so many others that have
long ago left the air.  I pulled out the HD to enjoy some nostalgia.  Sigh!

1134 SOUTH KOREA Hwaseong 250 or 500 kW HLKC, Oct 25 1433 - I'm thinking
that what I'm hearing sounds more Korean, but it could also just be JOQR
from Tokyo.  Getting through the serious slop from 1130 Vancouver at times,
but a real tough copy as a result. (Salmaniw,Victoria, BC)

1143 TAIWAN Baisha 100 kW BEL3 Taiwan Area Fishery Brdcstg Stn, Oct 25 1427
- Good reception here, although I can hear some weaker cochannel(s).
Confirmed by Chris Kadlec as being Chinese with a Taiwanese accent.
Thanks, Chris!   Faded down, but returned at good level at 14:39 until

1152 SOUTH KOREA Wonju 10 kW HLCW, Oct 25 1427 - Pretty strong signal at
times, but suffers from major splatter from 1150.  Not NHK2.  Not Chinese
sounding.  Seems // to 711 when I can hear both at the same time without
their respective splatters.  A tentative logging, though.

1170 SOUTH KOREA Gimje 500 kW KBS Hanminjok 2 Bangsong, Oct 25 1439 - Good
reception, clearly heard under KPUG in Korean.  Not aware of anyone
domestic that could mimic this one.  By 14:34 almost equal in strength to
KPUG.  EZL Korean female vocal. (Salmaniw,Victoria, BC)

1179 CHINA Wuhan, Hubei 100 kW Hubei RGD (tent), Oct 25 1430 - Briefly
heard some piano at fairly good level which in my mind fits better with
Hubei than JOOR.  A little flimsy for evidence, but that's my guess!.

1188 JAPAN Kitami, Hokkaido 10 kW JOKP, Oct 25 1432 - Nice to snag this 2nd
(or maybe a 3rd) tier NHK1 outlet at fair, sometimes good level, and // to
594 and 567 (which made it easy).  Improving after tune-in.  YL talk in
Japanese, into a piano piece. (Salmaniw,Victoria, BC)

1206 CHINA Yanji, Jilin 200 kW Yanbian RGD, Oct 25 1427 - Good reception
with operatic sounding piece with orchestral music on the usual 1205.96 or
so.  Another station is right on the nominal, but don't hear anyone besides
Yanbian (in Korean, as listed). (Salmaniw,Victoria, BC)

1215 CHINA Mudanjiang, Heiongjiang 50 kW CNR1, Oct 25 1427 - Fair reception
at times, and // to 945.  Mostly ruined by the constant splatter from KMIA
in Auburn, WA. (Salmaniw,Victoria, BC)

1251 UNID unid, Oct 25 1430 - I suspect a Chinese station there.  Very
weak, but occasionally audible.  Too weak to make heads or tails of the
station, though. (Salmaniw,Victoria, BC)

1278 JAPAN Fukuoka 50 kW JOFR, Oct 25 1427 - Tentatively with low level
talk by OM, sounds Japanese.  Fair at best. (Salmaniw,Victoria, BC)

1287 JAPAN Sapporo, Hokkaido HBC JOHR, Oct 25 1427 - No sign of any Chinese
stations here.  Instead, lot's of 'Hai' with a discussion between 2 males
in Japanese.   Good reception.  Up to very good at S9 + 10 reception.
