[IRCA] TP 23 Sep Victoria version.
Quite a snarl again around 1340UT, with missed loggings I'm sure, but overall, I'd say a tad less Asian strength,a tad more Aussie strength, and perhaps some New Zealand. It's been quite a mix; hearing JOLK suddenly spending about 90 seconds beating the stuffing out of 4QR was decidedly odd, especially as the latter was so strong before and afterwards.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):
567 JOIK man and woman in Japanese //594 peaking 1334UT
594 JOAK man in Japanese 1330UT and many other times; still the one to beat
612 4QR man and woman DU English 1346UT, still very readable with teletalk 1421UT and then finally fading for good
747 JOIB English lessons 1330UT
774 JOUB English lessons 1346UT, but generally poorer than this
972 HLCA man in Korean then "singing lessons" 1336UT
1566 HLAZ choir 1250UT, but never really got to this level later
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
576 2RN woman DU English 1344UT
693 JOAB English lessons 1331UT
702 NHK2 man in Japanese //774 1343UT
828 JOBB English lessons 1332UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:
558 JOCR likely, pop music, woman in Japanese 1346UT
738 Taiwan Fisheries man talking //1143 1336UT
837 JOQR man in Japanese //594 1338UT
864 HLKR man in Korean //711 1336UT
873 JOGB English lessons 1331UT
945 CNR1 woman and man in Chinese 1340UT, but more laid back than usual
954 JOKR woman talking Japanese 1340UT
963 CRI man in Russian //1323 1340UT
1143 Taiwan Fisheries man and woman talking //738 1331UT, sounded almost Hindi, but guess Tagalog more likely?
1242 JOLF man in Japanese 1359UT, cuckoo pips 1400UT
1287 JOHR likely, Japanese pop 1339UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)
585 JOPB man talking //594 1332UT
585 7RN man talking //621 1332UT mixing with above
603 NHK1 brassy music //594 1332UT
603 woman talking, possibly Korean, but no parallel. Channe was a mess today. NZ might have been there too?
621 3RN man talking //585 1332UT
702 2BL woman talking //612 1336UT; light pop music also, not //NHK2, maybe Magic NZ?
711 HLKA man talking //864 1336UT
711 unID woman in apparent Chinese before HLKA faded up 1335UT
738 2NR woman talking //612 1352UT, mixing with Taiwan?
846 at 1333UT, NHK1, and 2RN mixing together , both // 585
891 JOHK Japanese pop //594 1347UT, but slow talking man also might have been 5AN?
909 soft ballad 1337UT, Star?
1017 Tonga likely with island vocals 1355UT
1116 pop music, 4BC? 1346UT
1134 JOQR? man and woman talking Japanese intonation 1336UT
1323 CRI man talking //963 1340UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)
531 639 684 855 918 936 1053 1089 1098 1179 1215 1296 1332 1575 seemed to be Asian;
531 675 756 1098 1548 seemed to be DU
best wishes,
