[IRCA] TP 13 Sep Victoria version.

Certainly some strong signals this morning, mostly of the Japanese/Korean variety, but DUs there also

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

594 JOAK man in Japanese 1319UT

747 JOIB English lessons 1314UT

774 JOUB English lessons 1307 UT

828 JOBB English lessons 1239UT

972 HLCA woman in Korean over pops music 1338UT; easily equal to 970's strength

1566 HLAZ woman in Japanese 1033UT

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

576 2RN woman in DU English 1320UT, used at various times for parallels

585 7RN man talking //621 and into rock music 1340UT

594 3WV briefly dominating JOAK , man mentioning Melbourne 1326UT

612 4QR "this is Night Life" by woman 1321UT //738

702 2BL assumed, two men, DU English, briefly at 1246UT, no parallels at this time

873 JOGB English lessons 1240UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

693 JOAB man in Japanese //774 1237UT

738 2NR woman talking //612 1321UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

567 JOIK man talking //594 1250UT

603 ABC fanfare 1300UT; 2RN has been heard here before.

621 3RN deep voiced man //576 1241UT

774 3LO 6 pips under JOUB 1300UT

846 2RN piano solo //621 1314UT

855 jazzy instrumental, no parallel 1243UT

864 man talking DU English intonation 1324UT

891 JOHK pop vocal //594 1229UT

1287 man and woman talking, Japanese intonation 1302UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

558 603 864  945 954 1053 1107 1134 1179  1242 1386 1422 seemed to be Asian;
 558 675 936 1008 1017 1098 1116 1143 1503 1548 seemed to be DU

best wishes,

Nick
