[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 3-31 (Conclusion)

As Nick has reported neither one of us could quite reel in the Taiwan Fisheries' signals on 738 and 1143, despite our best efforts to investigate the special Indonesian/ Tagalog program heard a week ago. Despite this Asian signals were generally diverse and healthy during a generous daybreak enhancement around 1330, including a huge signal from 657-Pyongyang and several weaker Chinese stations.

The focus was on 738 right from my 1300 start time, but it was pretty obvious that Taiwan had missed the boat this morning. 740-KCBS splatter was loud and obnoxious right up until its 1340 fade out, and although a presumed 738-BEL2 did manage to come up with ghostly audio around 1345, language recognition was hopeless. After hearing yesterday's bizarre signal on 657 I was also checking to see if Pyongyang BS had repaired its humming transmitter, but of course it was still as degraded as ever, throbbing right along at S9 level for the 3+1 pips at 1330. Weak Chinese signals on 639, 756 and 936 came out of the noise around 1335, while a stronger one from 981-CNR1 was about at equal strength with the Vancouver splatter. The NHK big guns on 594, 693, 747 and 828 seemed somewhat down in strength this morning, although 972-HLCA was reaching S9 peaks from 1300-1345. 603-HLSA also had fair peaks in and out throughout the session, which was fairly notable for the S9 appearance of 657-Pyongyang's throbbing signal at its 1330 "TOH"-- one of its strongest appearances all year.

657 Pyongyang BS Pyongyang, N. Korea S9 martial music, throbbing hum, 3+1 pips and a pleasant greeting from the sweet-voiced female announcer at 1330 https://dreamcrafts.box.com/s/gf2u64ztx60me4w6sycgj5zrnhqld7og
