[IRCA] TP 8 Feb Victoria version
A continuing general lack of excitement, only audio beyond the
regulars was on 1098, maybe Chinese, still unidentified. Still,
perhaps a touch better than yesterday?
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
972 HLCA emotional male vocal briefly peaking at 1512UT, after man in
Korean a little earlier, and somewhat weaker
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
828 JOBB man in Portuguese 1443UT //774
1566 HLAZ female vocal 1529UT, man in Chinese
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
1593 CNR1 man in Chinese 1526UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
594 JOAK, never much more than mumbling on this one, but pips crept
through at 1500UT
693 JOAB man talking //774 1452UT
774 JOUB never amounting to much, noted //828 1442UT and to 693 noted above
1098 man talking, Chinese intonation 1545UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
747 1098 1116 1134 1242 1278 1314 1323 1359 1386 1422 1458
1557 seemed to be Asian;
1017 1098 1548 seemed to be DU
best wishes,
