[IRCA] DX logs in received in the past 2 weeks
530 Radio Caribe, Caribe, 01/24, noted Radio Enciclopedia ID by woman at
0059 then co‐channel Radio Caribe ID’s; and female with "Esta es C-M-B-Y,
Radio Caribe … Cuba" both stations at good strong level. Then female
introduces a program "Radio Caribe presenta - Musica de Cuba" NEW (Niven)
640 KFI Los Angeles CA, 01/14 noted at 1159 with ID at fair level mixed with
XENQ. Male says “..only 24 hour News/Traffic Station …KFI..” New (JN-TX)
770 XEANT SLP Tancanhuitz de Santos, 01/17, noted at 0001 with female giving
full identification, nice clear signal. Relog (Niven-TX)
810 XEHT TLAX Huamantla, 01/12, noted at 0559 with fair signal with male and
female "…XHHT FM 106.9 ….. Radio Huamantla ….", heard with KYTY
underneath, New! (Niven-TX)
920 KFLB Odessa TX, 01/11, noted at 0600 with female giving ID as "..This is
KFLB …. KFLB FM …..", mixing with KARN Little Rock, fair to poor signal.

1070 WNVY Cantonment FL, 01/18, noted at 2359 female with local weather
details, then a male gives calls as "WNVY", fair to poor level. Thanks goes
to the RealDX group for confirmation on the calls, NEW (JN-TX)
1280 KSLI Abilene TX 01/11, noted with quick ID at 0559 by male as "KSLI
1280 Classic Country", then back into music, mixed with WODT, New (JN-TX)
1290 WNBN Meridian MS, 01/12, noted with a quick WNBN Meridian over top of
gospel music at 0600, fair signal, Relog (JN-TX)
1290 WHKY Hickory NC, 01/14, noted at 1159 with male speaking and says "The
Greater … Networks choice for News and Information is WHKY, This is WHKY,
Hickory 1290 AM and 102.3 FM, your News is right now", then into Fox news.

1310 XETIA JAL Guadalajara, 01/14, noted with NA at fair to good level at
1159, then time pips as 2 short 1 long, then female with ID as “..escucha
XETIA AM, Radio Vital, Jalisco Mexico”, then into male vocals. Relog

1320 WRJW Picayune MS, 01/21, noted almost equal strength with a co channel
Mexican station at 1159 with male giving sign-on announcement and ID "Good
Morning, and welcome to another broadcast Day. WRJW 1320 ….. Communications
….. A Pearl Communications station ….", somewhat at fair level. It was a
little bit of a struggle at times to make out some of the announcer’s

1380 KHEY El Paso TX, 01/11, noted with Fox sports radio promo at 0559, then
TOH as “Sports Radio 1380 AM KHEY, El Paso”. Fair. I can hear XECO

1390 WMER Meridian MS, 01/21, noted with quick ID just before the TOH at
1159 with “Good Time Gospel … WMER 1390 AM and 94.9 FM”, Relog (JN-TX)
1400 KBYG Big Springs TX, 01/11, noted at 0600 with TOH ID by male as "…
K-B-Y-G 1400 …. K292FE FM 106.3 Big Springs", then drops with fair signal.

1400 KREF (T) Norman OK, 01/21, noted in the jumble at 1159 a female voice
out of the blue with promotion for "The Oklahoma City Home and Garden Show
on January 19th to January 21st at the State Fair Park of Oklahoma…" then
was gone. After checking other stations on the same frequency, I see KWON
Bartlesville and KTMC McAlester, these two stations are East of Oklahoma
City but KREF is in Norman and closer to Oklahoma City. NEW (JN-TX)
1580 KOKB Blackwell OK, 01/21, noted with sports talk at 0559 at good level
on top of the channel. Then, ID as "KOKP Perry-Stillwater, KOKP
Perry-Stillwater, and KOKB Blackwell- Ponca City....Triple Sports Radio,
your home for Sports Talk", NEW (JN-TX)
1590 KVGB Great Bend TX 01/12, noted at 0559 with male with “..Dan Holiday
with latest weather on KVGB..” with top of the town slogan, mixed with
KMIC. Then at 0600 Female with “News/weather and Lubbock Christian … AM
1590 The Spirit, KDAV Lubbock”, Relog (JN-TX)
1590 KWEY Clinton OK, 01/21, noted at 1202 coming out of a country song,
male says "You are listening to the Greatest Country Songs of all times,
KWEY 1590 AM and KWEY FM HD2, Clinton", fair signal. NEW (JN-TX)
1660 KQWB West Fargo ND, 01/14, noted at 0600 mixed with KRZI with TOH ID,
good signal when KRZI was in dead air. Relog (JN-TX)
1670 WOZN Madison WI, 01/11, noted at 0600 with male talk at fair level, the
TOH ID as "This is W244DR, … Madison", then into sport discussion. New
(JN-TX)
