[IRCA] My Top 10 catches of 2017

It was relatively quick and easy to pick my top 10 favorite MWDX catches 
of the year 2017, especially those from across the pond as conditions 
haven't been stellar as far as I'm concern. Furthermore, since hearing 
Tanzania in 2016, trying to catch a new African country at my place has 
been more like a spell in the wilderness with nothing more than a few 
suspect carriers.

Latin America hasn't been too generous either when putting aside 
regulars from Cuba, Colombia and Venezuela.

So here we goÂ:


1) IRAN, IRIB-Radio Ardabil - 1512 KHz. A rare visitor on that channel 
here where Saudi Arabia and Crete are the most common guests. Listed at

2) MACEDONIA, Makedonsko Radio 1 - 810 KHz. My only new country logged 
in 2017. Now that CJVA has moved to FM, I ÂonlyÂÂ have to deal with

3) CHINA, China Radio International â 1521 KHz. Thanks to numerous DX 
alerts on social medias, I could hear again this station, this time with 
my best signal ever. Here with a Russian program.

4) LITHUANIA, Radio Svoboda â 1386 KHz. This station showed up on a 
regular basis for days in November.

5) ROMANIA, Radio Romania Actualitati â 909 KHz. Not the most frequent 
among the Romanian channels heard here. Here giving a hard time to 
commonly heard BBC Radio 5. Listed at 50Kw.

6) UKRAINE, Radio Ukraine International â 1431 KHz. First noticed since 
being reactivated in Dec 2014 here with Russian service. Note that they 
transmit under a very limited schedule.

7) SLOVENIA, Radio Slovenija 1 â 918 KHz. Now off the air. Wasn't a 
frequent guest at my place.

8) MOLDOVA, Trans World Radio â 1548 KHz. It has been quite some time 
since I heard this relay, especially with good strength. Here with 
Interval Signal and a Romanian language program.

9) CHINA, CNR 11 â 1098 KHz. Taking advantage here of a good Trans-Polar 
propagation, Here's my best shot ever of this station.

10) BRAZIL, ZYJ458 Radio Globo â 1220 KHz. Without a doubt, the most
