[IRCA] December 22 seen in passing Victoria B.C. TP look see

Stopped into the shack around 1720 on the way to breakfast (last day on
Campus for me until after Hawaii!)
Conditions were similar to yesterday - with some spots being hotter -
others not so much... so, from memory a tune up the dial:

567 Khz Japanese
594 Khz Japanese
603 Khz - quite loud talking assuming Korean (way better than yesterday)
612 Khz - talk - maybe in English
702 Khz - talk - maybe in Japanese - too much CBC 690 splash
747 Khz - Japanese
756 Khz - talk but too muddy
774 Khz - Japanese talk
792 Khz - talk in the mud
819 Khz - near audio - likely Korean
828 Khz - Japanese
837 Khz - Talk - likely Japanese
855 Khz - muddy jumble
891 Khz - muddled audio
909, 918, 954 Khz muddy audio
972 Khz Korean blasting in
1053 Khz Jumble
1098 Khz Jumble with carrier - LOUDER than 1100!
1116 Khz Jumble
1179 Khz near audio
1224, 1278, 1287Khz - All Japanese I think.

Lots and lots of sold hets between 1300 and 1500 as I breezed to the upper
band...

1566 Khz in its usual skull crushing signal. Muddy audio on 1575 and 1593.

So - about equal to yesterday with some exceptions depending on which part
of the band you were on.

DRAKE R8 + W/NW Flag + Plus the home-brew *Newell series of VACTROL Remote
termination controllers.*
