The Tibetan service on 1098 was heard quite well in Victoria about 4 years
ago, so certainly should find its way to Haida Gwaii I would think.

As for the echoing Japanese on 1098,  I've heard them here down near Nagoya
using a barefoot Ultralight.   I suspect that they are SBC stations
relaying JOSR in Nagano, as PAL and Asiawaves list only one Hokkaido
station don't they?

Pretty nice DX at any rate.
