[IRCA] EWU on KGA 1510

I let O. Howit Hertz know directly but I thought I
would let anyone else know who cared that KGA 1510
does indeed carry Eastern Washington Eagles
Basketball.  They will be at Northern Iowa this
Saturday, 11/26, and coverage begins at 8:05 PM ELT. 
Personally, I wish KGA would sign off so I could hear
WLAC like I did back in 1971!  Bring back Monday
morning sign-offs!

On another note, daytime DX has made it back to
Spokane and the Inland Northwest, as our region of
Eastern Washington, Northern Idaho, and, possibly,
Western Montana likes to refer to itself.

I heard CKWX 1130, Vancouver, BC, at about 1:00 PM
Pacific local time yesterday with its all news ("News
1130") format.  I'm pretty sure I had CFUN 1410 from
the same city also but I didn't stick around for an
ID.  They were running "Dr. Laura."  Both stations are
dominant here at night.  Today at around 2:00PM I had
CKWX again but CFUN wasn't there.

My best ever daytime DX was KXMR 710 Bismarck, ND a
couple years ago.  They would be much tougher now
because of new local KXLX 700 that's very difficult
for me to null.  At night I can null them enough to
hear KIRO 710, but I fear that WLW 700 is gone
forever.

Daydreaming of DX days gone by (although there's still
lots of good stuff to hear),
