My DX398 is having a few problems:
(1) No audio out of the speaker
(2) Right channel only on earphones (with occasional short bursts of audio on the left, amidst crackling)
(3) âRDSâ appears all the time while the radio is off
(4) RDS info is extremely slow coming, even on strong signals.
I have written Rod Walberg with no response. I also recall that a Mr. Ramos did repairs but the latest correspondence indicates no responses from him either.
I there anyone else out there in DXland who still repairs these? If so, contact info would be appreciated. Thanks.
