[IRCA] TP 29 Aug Victoria version

Lots of carriers, DU audio mixing with Asian earlier, then more DU towards sunrise with quite a New Zealand romp from 1300-20UT. I'm sure that some were missed, like 4QR and 3LO, too busy chasing other stuff

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

567 RNZ National 1317UT woman in DU English //837, 918 etc.
774 JOUB English lessons 1232UT
1566 HLAZ piano music, woman in Japanese 1237UT

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

the above passing through

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

594 3WV fanfare "ABC news" 1300UT but also NHK pips
603 rhythmic vocal music 1237UT Waatea very likely
702 Magic. commercial to do with satellites and motor home 1300UT, into pop music after deep voiced man "Magic --feels good" just like Gary's referenced audio for Tim Tromp
747 JOIB English lessons 1256UT
756 RNZ National, //567 1317UT
828 JOBB English lessons 1205UT
909 Star ballad 1237UT, 1255UT; //882 at 1323UT
1008 ZB man in DU English 1322UT //1053
1566 HLAZ man in Chinese 1216UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

675 RNZ National pop music //567 1318UT
837 RNZ National pop music //567 1317UT
882 Star soft vocals //909 1323UT
918 RNZ National pop music //567 1317UT; quite rare here (two 2.5kw synchros)
1053 ZB, first noted 1319UT, ID'd //1008 at 1322UT; two whole kilowatts---don't know where the other ZB's were.

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

 954 1206 1242 1287 1323 1575 1593 seemed to be Asian;
576 585 765 855 891 1026 1035 1098 (rough carrier; anyone else noticing this?) 1179 1251 1386 1503 seemed to be DU

best wishes,

Nick
