[IRCA] TP 14 July Victoria version
A better morning than yesterday, still all DU, with a number of
carriers near audio, and quite a lot of reasonable carriers overall
on unusual channels such as 1152 and 1359 .
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
no
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
no
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
no
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
603 R. Waatea, woman talking, very weak but //765, 1212UT
612 woman talking DU English inflection 1218UT
765 R. Kahungunu, woman talking, very weak but //603, 1212UT
774 man talking, DU English inflection, sports of some kind? 1212UT
891 man talking, sports broadcast?, almost certain was DU English,
but not very strong, 1117UT
1098 slow vocal music 1057UT, Marshalls?
1503 man talking, DU English inflection, 1216UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
nothing seemed to be Asian;
594 756 828 855 909 963 1386 seemed to be DU
best wishes,
