[IRCA] TP 14 May Victoria version

Asians were pretty much it again this morning, and some of the big guns bigged up very nicely indeed. This is May?

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

828 JOBB man in Japanese briefly topped out at this level 1121UT, ID'd with various parallels
972 HLCA man and woman in Korean 1139UT

(1566 came close, several times)

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

774 JOUB man in Japanese 1143UT; ID'd by various parallels
1566 HLAZ sudden fade up to man and woman in Chinese, following usual sequence with both of them speaking in unison at 1100UT. Also man in Chinese 1111UT, and 1123UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

the above, passing through

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

594 man and woman talking, dramatic speech, Japanese inflection 1117UT
747 JOIB man talking //774 1113UT
873 JOGB man talking //774 1146UT
1179 man talking, right on the edge of readability, but Japanese inflection?
1206 woman talking, Korean inflection?
1287 man talking Japanese inflection 1113UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

891 1053 1134 1242 1323 1386 1422 seemed to be Asian;
675 702 1098 seemed DU

best wishes,

Nick
