[IRCA] TP 12 May Victoria version

Asians were still around this morning, but subdued, and not much in the way of DownUnder to take up the slack.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

back to normal

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

here also

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

1116 4BC assumed with two men in DU English doing sports commentary 1120UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

702 woman talking DU English inflection 1220UT
747 JOIB man talking Japanes inflection 1116UT; //828 which was even weaker
774 JOUB NHK2 interlude music 1158UT, pips on hour. Made several appearance over the previous hour
828 JOBB man mumbling //747 1116UT
909 soft music 1204UT, Star?
1386 vocal music 1204UT, but not Indian sounding; not NHK2 for sure ; NZ?
1566 man talking, Chinese inflection 1154UT, likely HLAZ

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

954 972 1287 1323 seemed to be Asian;
612 756 891 1098 seemed DU

best wishes,

Nick
