You won't hurt your Sony hooking it up to a good LW. We had at least 3
of them hooked up to our BOG's at the LBI DXpedition. Just remember
that you can't push the jack all the way in or it will short out the
first stage of amplification. You have to put it in far enough to
notice the signal difference only. As long as you don't leave it there
during a T-storm there should be no problems.
