Predawn Asian DX was indeed just as good as yesterday's, Colin, although "sunrise enhancement" was more like a sunrise bailout here. Nick's preliminary report from Gabriola Island has been noted. Prior to dawn the same second tier Asians (531, 558, 603, 657, 738, 936, 1017, 1035, 1044, 1206 and 1323) were in and out with fair audio, while 594, 747, 774, 972 and 1053 were hitting S9 levels during peaks. Sunrise made everything fizzle, with the Japanese first to bail. By 1530 only the Korean diehards on 603, 657 and 972 were in weak audio.

Thanks, Colin. Assuming that the airport TSA security agents like my new "Frequent Flyer" FSL designs there should be some interesting DX to report from Kona. Your initial reports have been awesome. The location seems ideal for both Asian and DU-DX-- especially with no west coast RF pollution to dodge.
