Re: [IRCA] noise?
Geez..... I was hoping neil wasn't one of the responders to this thread. I
was formerly running his 17' x 64' kaz as my antenna oriented west w/900ohm
resistor as terminator.
My wellbrook is outside on the balcony railing about 5' from the brick
façade. Using a rotator to orient and lmr-240 lead-in. it is about 15'above
grade. I can relocate to
The yard, but was hoping to keep it closer to the shack, where I can keep an
eye on it.

Billy that ALA 1530LP is a fine antenna. Can you mount it outside somewhere
on your property where it is less noisy? Perhaps raise it up and put it on a
rotor?
