I'm still a fan of taking a battery portable to the fuse box ("load center")
and switching off legs one at a time while listening for noise changes.
That drill led me to a DTV converter/set-top box that turned out to be
reradiating noise back up the coax to the TV antenna.
...not to mention almost all wall-warts, computer routers, lights and
dimmers...

Power inverter, model MCPI-300 for my "make an offer" price of $16.00 on
Ebay. Evidently someone didn't know the value of what they had, as these
were $130 units before they were discontinued. Or, they were just clearing
house and didn't care how low a price it might sell for.
