[IRCA] TP 29 Oct Victoria version

DU again, and better than yesterday with a couple of little surprises, plus one brief Asian.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

612 4QR waited until 1501UT to peak with ABC news; earlier reasonable strength Saturday Night Country with no parallels presumably due to DST offset to the south (though that isn't always observed with other programs it seems)

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

828 3GI woman talking DU English, //774, then into country music

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

594 JOAK man in Japanese, woman agreeing 1450UT; by 1452UT, back to the country (music)
621 3RN woman and man talking, briefly //576 at 1442UT
738 Tahiti assumed, pop music at various times 1345-1402UT, not //702
774 3LO Saturday Night Country //702 at 1422, 1431 and 1441UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

576 2RN man and woman in DU English 1440-2UT //621 at one point
585 7RN woman talking //576 (which was barely there) at 1413UT
603 rhythmic music 1415UT
702 2BL parallel with various at various times; ABC fanfare noted 1400UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter) lots of near audio here

855 891 909 1026

best wishes,

Nick
