	Back the dials today after a short business trip out to BC, and it 
seems little has changed.  Still all DU here, and the lower end of the 
band continues to be favoured.


594	3WV	Horsham, AUSTRALIA	ABC news at 1301.  Very weak, but confirmed 
// with 612.

612	4QR	Brisbane, AUSTRALIA	Bits of talk at 1259, then pips and ABC news 
fanfare at the hour.  Weakish then, but up to good level by 1302. 
Perhaps strongest of the season.

684	unID		Traces of talk at 1329

702    2BL    Sydney, AUSTRALIA    Talk by man and woman through strong 
700 splatter, at 1350.

738	2NR	Grafton, AUSTRALIA	ABC news fanfare at 1300, then into news.

792	Brisbane, AUSTRALIA	Assumed the one with EZL type of music at 1328.

819	unID		Talk by a man at 1358

1116   4BC    Brisbane, AUSTRALIA    News by man noted at 1301.  Up to 
100% copy by 1340, and remained good through 1400 ID and Macquarie 
national news.


Highlight today was 612 doing really well, and also had an unusually 
strong carrier on 621.  Not quite enough for audio, but very close.
1116 was strong too, but that's a more common event.
