[IRCA] TP 8 Oct Victoria version
Back to Asia, quite erratic, and mostly big guns...because I looked,
here's a report, but excitement was fairly minimal. As Gary
mentioned, bit of an opening closer to 1200UT, but here also a slight
enhancement nearer 1400UT
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
774 JOUB man in Japanese 1341UT
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
594 JOAK pop music 1351UT. man in Japanese
972 HLCA man in Korean 1323UT, out of the blue, but made several
reappearances until about 1415UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
702 woman singing soulfully 1342UT, not //very weak 612 or to NHK, so no idea
828 JOBB man in Japanese 1215UT
1053 Korean jammer 1400 and 1402UT, not signed off yet
1566 HLAZ man in Japanese 1256UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
747 //774 man in Japanese 1343UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter) lots of near audio here
738 873 891 954 1170 1252 1503
best wishes,
Nick
