Re: [IRCA] DU carriers in DC - Oct. 7
So that's where the DX went. If I had to send a
report right now, I'm not sure it would have been
a lot different from my location in western
Canada. I hope there's a bit more in the files, but not promising anything
A really good showing for so far east. Good luck with the audio.
best wishes,
Nick

Carriers today on 612, 702, 738, 774, 1116, 1512
and 1548. Only 1512 and 1548 came close to
audio - both just at sunrise @ 7:10 AM EDT [1110 utc].
Fade pattern on 1512 and 1548 of ~ 2 second
peaks and ~ 2 second valleys. Both â??teasedâ??
the SAM on peaks which took a bit of time to
settle and then got lost in the domestic splatter and fading desired signal.
Few mumbly words heard on both 1512 and 1548
between 1106 - 1115utc with 1548 holding out the longest.
Perseverance will pay off someday!
