Checked for hets/audio starting at 0130 utc, about
11 hets then. 1314 audio 0138 utc, music and talk, weak. 1575 audio 0205 utc,
pop music and some talk, weak. 1575 at times came up to weak level for up to a
couple of minutes at a time, then would take a fade.
LWBC with very poor audio on 198 171, 162 at 0205
utc. 189 had audio, playing R&R music, with a Simon and Garfunkel song when
first tuned in. Big fades at first, then was a period of about 5 minutes at a
time with weak audio, to 0245 utc. Then big fading began again and presently,
0257 utc, signal is poor. 189 was the best TA for this evening so far. A check
of MW at 0250 utc had only weak hets everywhere--MW seems to have gone away
here.
Static is bad on LW, but not
continuous.
