KLLV has been known to stay at night several times during the past few
years, if my memory serves me correctly. With continuing fablulous low band
cx here I spent several hours last night monitering low band channels.
(Again noting KOGO 600 San Diego o/u WMT and unID C&W and with enough locals
ads and phone numbers to try for a verie, (which I almost never do)) On 550
(with my phasing set to null what ever eastern pest might show up (I phased
local WIND down a lot, or phased WKZO 590, and the easterly null carries
over to nearby channels) I had KFYR o/u KTRS most of the time and with some
occ strong mx QRM, being aware that KLLV would most likely have lots of
gospel mx, I paid close attention(especially when western CO cheat KJOL 620
was strong) but the mx certainly all seemed to be C&W which should be KRAI
which has a decent pattern to the east and was IDed last season in superb
cx, but no trace of KLLV here as far as I could tell, and I also struck out
trying to get needed KFYI. Some Mexican mx QRM showed up briefly on 550 as
well.
With KNBR 680 in well I tried and tried to hear something that could point
to KFRC thru KC's 610 Sports superpest but all I could copy with weak C&W
likely unneeded Nebraska. Once again no sign of needed KFWB 980 or KABC 790
in spite of nice sigs at times from KNX and KFI. Indeed it is much harder to
get 5 KW regionals from the distant west than 50 KW NDers.
