And for AM it's time for them to learn how to make a
decent AM section so the IBOC performance will not
suffer. It's been well over 30 years (with some
exceptions) that the AM sections of radio receiving
gear being halfway decent. It is amazing that the
Technics SA-400 actually has a fairly good AM. I got
it at a thrift store for $20. The FM is really decent.

Chip manufacturers say AT LEAST 3 generations of
chipsets away before that gets fixed!
